Dear Friends,

I have recently returned from a trip to Israel that included visits to the West Bank and Jordan. While I took this trip with fellow MN Legislators, it was an unofficial visit and one we planned for educational pleasure at our personal expense. Yet, because it was a “Legislator" trip, I would like to share my impressions of this trip with you, my constituents.

I have written a brief summary of this journey that includes my impressions on many levels. I welcome your comments and understand that you may not share my views. I have respect for our differences and welcome a dialogue. Please understand that I am keenly aware of the tremendous challenges we are facing in our state and this communication does not reflect a change in my personal priorities at this time. I am hard at work on solving the economic challenges right here in Minnesota. Thank you, as always, for the privilege to represent you in the MN Senate.
