With the 2010 Legislative Session fast approaching, my office has assembled a 2010 Legislative Questionnaire that will allow us to find out where our community stands on the issues currently facing the Minnesota Legislature.

I am hopeful that each of you will take a few moments to share with me your thoughts and opinions on issues that will be discussed in the upcoming session. Simply click on the link below and you will see instructions on how to complete the online questionnaire.

You can also make your voice heard by attending precinct caucuses tomorrow(Tuesday) night. Precinct caucuses are events held in even-numbered years, where individuals from a certain neighborhood(or precinct) who all support a particular political party get together to decide the direction of that party. Attendees will help select the candidates that the party supports in the next election.  You will also have the chance to bring forth issues  of importance that you would like to see the party address. I have included a link below to the “Caucus Finder” on the Secretary of State’s website where you can enter your address and see caucus locations for the Independence, Republican, Democratic-Farmer-Labor, Green, and Constitution Parties of Minnesota. I encourage each of you to attend and make your voice heard!
